After 24 years Glenn Waite leaves Sefton Music Service and therefore SYJO - see News

Two ensembles run by Sefton Schools Music Service.

Sefton Youth Jazz Orchestra was first formed in 1985. As members of the band the young musicians from Sefton schools improve their skills and perform regularly.

In 1994 the Sefton Schools Jazz Ensemble was begun as a training band for SYJO and has now established itself as another of Sefton’s Youth Ensembles. JWatFeast06

Both bands now perform under the Sefton Youth Jazz logo.
