Friends of Sefton Youth Jazz has been providing support since its inception in 1991. It is our mission to support the bands through practical and financial assistance. ‘Friends’ is a registered charity no.1006022 and has helped the band to produce its recordings and has assisted in buying equipment as well as contributing to travel costs.

Mrs Lynda Kinsela is the current Chair of ‘Friends’ elected at the AGM on 20 September 2010.

Bernie Ormandy is the Treasurer 

Christine Adamson is the Secretary

Members include the directors of both bands and parents of band members elected at the annual general meeting held close to the beginning of the academic year.
